"Ink Tank is an Austin-based artist collective composed of roughly thirteen transient individuals. Together we make objects and conceptual environments, aiming to privilege the experience and not the relic. We don't live in the future, but try to sometimes."
I was absorbed into Ink Tank after working with them as a guest artist and then I guess just not going away. I've had some part in several site-specific installations and happenings over the last couple years. The first thing I did for Ink Tank was to airbrush a viking skeleton on the side of a post-apocalyptic battle van, which was crashed into a miniature burning cityscape, which in turn housed a mini-golf hole. The most recent thing I've done was record a guided meditation for a vending machine.
